After reading this and thinking it might hard drive related, I went into the BIOS and checked the drive interface. Tried what you suggested but my BIOS did not have the 'compatibility' option, so I switched it from AHCI to IDE. Restarted and then the system would hang at the strtup, a brief BLOD would show and the computer would restart. I do not know why Win 7 stack at USB connection.
When I tried to boot through safe mode it would hang on the classic classpnp.sys. Please try again later or contact support for further assistance. I couldn't even launch Windows install from usb/cd for it freezed again on startup.
