It is very important to us? bearerbox being unable to communicate with the modem could be caused by modem memory being full. two modem should be connected ? Normally we should get DLR REJECTED or UNDELIVERED but instead of it in logs we have CMS ERROR: +CMS ERROR: 500 and message is being queued and kannel try to resend
A SIM card from a different network in the same modem will send OK. I also found that my set-up didn't require having "my-number" set. -- Kelsey Sigurdur <[hidden email]> Hamel Bulk Carriers Ltd. Best regards. After each try modem is being disconnected and connects again. click here now
Therefore add the following lines to you smsc/at config #Smsc group = smsc smsc = at ... Seems to mean that the SIM card rejected the message. Here is a part of bearerbox logs: 2010-05-10 09:40:02 DEBUG: AT2[modem]: TP-Validity-Period: 24.0 hours 2010-05-10 09:40:02 DEBUG: AT2[modem]: -- AT+CMGS=18^M 2010-05-10 09:40:02 DEBUG: AT2[modem]: --

anton djsensui (djsensui) 2015-07-08 02:49:16 UTC #15 You need to restart kannel (smsbox / bearerbox) every time you change USB. We use Kannel only for shipments of SMS via HTTP.
