In my case the Battery "negative clip" under the battery was not making a good connection, the battery when installed was very loose. bilal my computer s key board is not funtioning properly, some keys not functioning like m, c, v and x , and all the short cuts are unable to perform , And wouldn't you know, same issue... o.O Final test: I've connected everything just as it was before the failure (that is, the USB keyboard into the "blown" port) AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE!

I mean, the keyboard is plugged in, indicator lights are still on, and it obviously worked because I got myself into BIOS with it, but inside BIOS, it just will not Ps/2 Keyboard then press F1 for setup.. so HAPPY it worked..
